LAHORE: CTD Punjab conducted 71 IBOs in different districts of Punjab to avert any untoward incident.

During the IBOs, 73 suspects were interrogated and 7 suspects have been arrested. The arrested accused persons have been identified as Muhammad Mushtaq s/o Abdul Majeed arrested from R.Y.Khan. He belongs to the defunct organization LeJ. He was distributing hateful pamphlets and stickers of defunct organization LeJ against Ahl e Tashi sect and spreading sectarianism among the peoples. Detail of recoveries is as under: 38 Pamphlets of LeJ, 18 Stickers of LeJ, 01 CNIC, Cash Rs. 210/-

One of the suspects namely Zafar Mehmood Khan s/o Muhammad Alam Khan was arrested from Jhang. He belongs to the defunct organization TJP. He was advertising his defunct organization through social media and sharing hateful post against “Sahaba Ikram” on facebook. Detail of recoveries is as under: 01 Mobile Phone OPPO A57, Cash Rs. 1200/-

Another suspected terrorist has been identified as Asim Raza s/o Muhammad Ali. He has been arrested from Gujranwala. He belongs to the defunct organization TNFJ. He was advertising his defunct organization through Stickers and distributing banned books to create sectarianism among the peoples. The recoveries are 03 Banned Books, 11 Stickers of TNFJ, 01 Mobile Phone Nokia RM1187, Cash Rs. 51500/-

Fourth suspect has been identified as Asif Ali s/o Muhammad Aslam; fifth as Noman Ijaz s/o Muhammad Aslam and 6^th as Mazhar Abbas s/o Khushi Muhammad. They were arrested from Hafizabad. They belong to the defunct organization SSP. They were printing Flags and Stickers for advertisement of their defunct organization SSP. Detail of recoveries is as under: 74 Stickers of Defunct organization SSP, 03 Mobile Phones, 01 Computer, 01 Cuter, 01 printer with 05 different coloured Sticker role, 03 bundles of Visiting cards, Cash Rs. 9400/-

The 7^th accused person has been identified as Syed Tanzeel ur Rehman s/o Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah. He has been arrested from Lahore. He belongs to the defunct organization HuT. He was collecting funds for financial support of his defunct organization due to which a case was register against him.

The spokesman of CTD said that CTD Punjab is proactively perusing its goal of safe and secure Punjab and will not leave any stone unturned in its efforts to bring terrorists and anti- state elements behind bars.
